Extension traction methods are used as an aid in restoring the normal sagittal curves of the spine. All extension traction works by stretching the soft tissues on the anterior portion of the spine with the goal of allowing the spine to return to a more normal posture.
The products in this section have been in widespread use in the chiropractic profession for nearly two decades and extension traction has a long record of patient safety. Even so, there are some conditions which will contraindicate the use of extension traction methods.
